All roads lead to Rome. But roads work both ways. Augustus knew that better than anyone. While the world was busy marching toward Rome, he was quietly moving his most dangerous secrets out. He needed a place to hide the Imperial Regalia and he chose this city to keep them safe.
This wasn't some random choice; it was a calculated move. He left the location with one man, who encoded the map across landmarks using symbols carved into the city's oldest stones. Those marks are still there, hiding in plain sight while you grab your morning coffee or walk to work.
You receive the first clue from a source who refuses to identify themselves. The greatest personal treasury ever assembled is waiting for someone with the right eyes to find it. Are you ready to claim what Augustus left behind?

It starts at Beursplein and is a loop, so you end back where you began. On the way you pass the Royal Palace, Spuistraat, Hotel The Craftsmen, Herenstraat, the Embassy of the Free Mind, the Eerste Hollandsche Levensverzekerings Bank, Westerkerk, the Multatuli Statue and De Nieuwe Kerk.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take about two hours, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers around 3.2 km through the historic centre. You can pause at any point and continue later, so there is no need to finish in one go.
Is it suitable for children?
It works best for teens and older children who enjoy a story and a puzzle. Players decode clues hidden in symbols on the city's old stones and landmarks, and the full route takes around two hours on foot, which can be long for younger children.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the route, so friends or a family can follow the clues side by side and work out the puzzles as a team rather than each person needing their own game.
