Frequently asked questions

Where does the reindeer quest start and finish?
It starts at the quest's starting point in Rovaniemi and is a loop, so you finish back where you began. In between you meet Minna, Lumi and valo, the Reindeer herd, Eino, Bella, The wild man, the Angry Birds Playground, Jätkänkynttilä, Hanki and Pelko, with Onni as the final stop.
How long does it take to walk the route?

Is it suitable for babies and toddlers?
Yes. It is rated easy and family friendly, and was written with everyone from babies to early walkers in mind. The short distance, gentle puzzles and a playground stop make it a relaxed outing for young families rather than a challenge for older kids.
Do we need to book or pay to play?
No booking is needed and it is free to play. You start whenever you like on your phone, with no group to join and no guide to wait for, so it fits easily around other plans during your stay in Rovaniemi.
