CONFIDENTIAL / CASE BRIEFING
The story starts here.
You know the old saying, “The boyfriend did it”? On an ill-fated night, love goes terribly wrong for Bella Wanderlust and Walter Bridges.
Bella, a famous travel blogger, was found dead during a ghost tour led by the theatrical Percy Shadows. Now, it’s up to you to uncover the truth.
Was it Walter, the obsessed boyfriend? Percy, the ghost tour guide with a flair for the dramatic? Or is someone else hiding in the shadows?
🔎 Gather clues, interrogate suspects, and expose the real murderer before they strike again. Make sure to have your pen and paper ready to jot down all the crucial evidence.
Is this for you?
Who it's for
Richmond's streets set the scene for a 2.1 km walk of around 90 minutes, as you question boyfriend Walter, ghost tour guide Percy Shadows and others over the death of travel blogger Bella Wanderlust. Date-night couples, friends and families with teens who enjoy playing detective will like it. Pick something else if you want an indoor murder dinner or have children too young for a killing.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a murder mystery game you can play in Richmond?
Yes. This is a self-guided murder mystery played outdoors on your phone in Richmond. The app leads you from place to place while you gather clues and interrogate suspects to work out whether Walter the boyfriend, Percy the ghost tour guide or someone else killed Bella.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes for a walk of about 2.1 km. You can pause the game and continue later, so stopping for food or a drink along the way will not cost you your progress in the investigation.
Is it suitable for kids?
The story centres on a murder and is written mainly with adults in mind. Older kids and teens who enjoy solving clues can join in alongside their parents, but for younger children the theme and the detective work may be less of a fit.
Do we need to book a time, and can our group play together?
There is no set time, so you can start whenever you like. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, and everyone can follow the case and hunt for clues on their own phone.
Is it outdoors, and what if it rains?
Yes, the game is played outside as you walk between locations, so dress for the weather. If the rain sets in, you can pause the mystery and pick it up again later from where you left off.
