Frequently asked questions
Is there an outdoor escape room in Rialto?
Yes. This is an escape-room-style game played outdoors on your phone. You follow clues between 11 stops, including the HeadQuarters Fire Station and Rialto Library, and crack puzzles to outsmart the witch in a story inspired by L. Frank Baum's original 1900 Oz novel.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
The game starts at Rialto Civic Center. Plan on around 90 minutes to walk roughly 2 km and solve the puzzles along the way. You can pause at any point and pick up where you left off later.
Can we play as a group, or solo?
Both work. One ticket covers your whole group, so friends, couples or families can team up and solve the puzzles together. If you prefer to play alone, you can take on the witch's challenges solo and see how you rank on the leaderboard.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No. Unlike an indoor escape room with fixed sessions, you start whenever suits you, with no guide or set group to meet. Just head to Rialto Civic Center, open the app and begin, then pause and continue later if you need a break.
Is it played outdoors, and what about rain?
The whole game takes place outdoors on the streets of Rialto, walking about 2 km between stops. There is no indoor version of the route, so check the weather, dress for it, and remember you can pause and finish another day.
