Frequently asked questions
What is the Morgantown murder mystery story about?
The case centres on travel blogger Bella Wanderlust, found dead during a ghost tour led by the theatrical Percy Shadows. As you walk through Morgantown, you gather clues and interrogate suspects, including her obsessed boyfriend Walter, to work out whether one of them did it or someone else was hiding in the shadows.
How long does the quest take and how far do we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes to walk about 1.7 km while solving the case. There is no fixed pace, and you can pause the game and continue later if you want to stop for food or a break along the way.
Is this murder mystery suitable for kids?
It works best for older kids and teens. The story revolves around a death, and solving it means reading clues, questioning suspects and reasoning out who is lying, which suits players old enough to follow a detective plot. Younger children may lose interest or find the theme unsettling.
Do we need to book a time, and can our group play on one ticket?
No time slot is needed. You start whenever you like, with no guide and no other group to join. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so everyone can follow the clues on their own phone.
Is the quest outdoors, and what if it rains?
Yes, it is an outdoor walk through the city played on your phone, so dress for the weather. If rain sets in, you can pause the game and pick up where you left off later the same day or another time.
