Is there a map or set route for exploring the Fátima Sanctuary?
Yes. The app leads you from place to place along a 2.3 km route with 14 stops, from the High Cross past the statues of Popes John Paul II, Pius XII and Paul VI, the Basilica of the Holy Trinity, the Little Shepherds and the Holm Oak, to the Crowned Tower.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at the High Cross and finishes at the Crowned Tower. It is not a loop, so you end at a different spot from where you began. Along the way you pass the Homeless Jesus sculpture, the Berlin Wall fragment and the Monument of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
How long does it take?
Most players take 1.5 to 2 hours, including walking the 2.3 km route and solving the puzzles at each stop. You can pause at any point and continue later, so you can slow down for prayer, a rest or a longer look inside the basilicas.
