It starts at the Royal Gate and finishes at the Alfonso XII Monument, so it does not return to where you began. Along the way you pass 15 stops, including the Fountain of the Galapagos, the Velazquez Palace, the Crystal Palace and the Fountain of the Fallen Angel.
What is the difference between a guided tour and a self-guided tour with an app?
There is no guide and no group to join. Your phone leads you from place to place, tells the story of each spot and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you. You start whenever you like and can pause and continue later, though there is nobody to ask questions live.
