Frequently asked questions

Where does the Tiergarten walk start and finish?
It starts and ends at the Victory Column, so it is a loop. Along the way you pass Potsdamer Platz station, the Boulevard der Stars, the Berliner Philharmonie, the Richard Wagner monument, the Brandenburg Gate, the Soviet War Memorial, a memorial to the victims of the Wall and the Rosengarten.
Does the route pass the Brandenburg Gate?
Yes. The Brandenburg Gate is one of the stops, reached after the Global Stone Project and just before the Soviet War Memorial Tiergarten. The app tells you the story of the place and sets a puzzle in what you can see there.
How long does it take and how far is it?
Plan on about an hour of walking over 5.7 km, mostly through the park and its open lawns. You can pause the game at any point, take a break on the grass or at a café, and continue later from where you stopped.
Do we need to book a time, and can a group play together?
No time slot is needed. You start whenever you like on your phone, with no guide and no group to meet. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated for the quest.
Is it outdoors, and what if it rains?
The walk is outdoors, through Tiergarten and past monuments and memorials, so dress for the weather. If rain sets in, you can pause the game and pick it up again later when it clears.
What does the Tiergarten route include?
It follows the Tiergarten district from the Victory Column toward Potsdamer Platz, using landmarks and pieces of Berlin Wall history as part of the clue trail.
Is this experience self-guided?
Yes. The Questo app guides you from clue to clue, with no guide or fixed start time. You can begin when it suits you and pause along the way.
How many accesses does our group need?
Classic quests sell access per device and player. Each person who wants to solve clues on their own phone needs their own access.
