He turns and pleads: “Help me! I am Francesco Sforza.” The ghost of the Duke, tricked by the Gods of the Underworld, has one day to return to his city. But Milan has changed since 1466, and he is lost. When you agree to help, a mischievous sprite appears: solve the riddles or follow the Duke into the depths of the Underworld.

Is the Sforza quest in Milan played through an app?
Yes. You play it on your phone. The app leads you from stop to stop, tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you, as you help the lost ghost of Francesco Sforza. There is no guide and no group to join.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at the Monumento a Sandro Pertini and finishes at Castello Sforzesco, so it does not return to the start. On the way you pass Casa Manzoni, Casa degli Omenoni, Teatro alla Scala, Savini Milano 1867, the Duomo, Piazza Mercanti, Piazza degli Affari and the Chiesa di San Tommaso in Terramara.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take about two hours, walking and puzzles included. The route covers 3.2 km through central Milan, and it is best played during the day. You can pause along the way and continue later, so there is no need to rush between stops.
Is it good for kids?
It is tagged as a recommended activity for families. The ghost story and riddles suit school-age children who enjoy puzzles and can manage about two hours on foot over 3.2 km. Very young children may lose interest or tire before reaching Castello Sforzesco.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
