How it works

Create for the public, for your people, or just for a story you care about

Questo Creator is open to people with good local ideas, not only professional writers. Build something players can enjoy outside, then choose the path that fits your goal.

1

Start with an idea, not a resume

Anyone can create a quest. You do not need to be a writer, tour guide, or game designer. The builder helps you turn local knowledge, a story, or a personal idea into a route people can play on foot.

2

Choose public or private

Build a public quest if you want other people to discover it and potentially earn shared revenue. Or make it private for passion, a birthday, a bachelorette party, a friends activity, a proposal, or another personal moment.

3

Build the route and content

Add the places players will visit, the challenges they solve, the stories or facts they learn, and, when relevant, the fiction that connects everything into a mission.

4

Submit it for review

When your quest is ready, send it to Questo. We check that it follows the guidelines, works in the real world, and gives players a clear, safe, worthwhile experience.

Public quest

For players, reach, and revenue

If the quest is meant for the public, we first publish it in testing mode. You invite real players to test it in the city. After at least 10 real-world players complete the testing step and the quest is strong enough, Questo can move it toward a paid publication and revenue-share contract.

Private quest

For personal moments

If the quest is private, the approval path is simpler. As long as it follows the guidelines and can be played safely, we approve it for your group without requiring the same public testing path.

Trying the builder

Shape your first quest

We recommend a Quest because it combines the route, puzzles, local stories and roleplay into one mission, which usually creates the strongest player experience.
