Plan on close to three hours in daylight. If 3.2 km on foot is too much for your group, or you want a live guide to question, choose something shorter.

Where is Lisbon's old town, and which parts does this walk cover?
The route runs through the heart of old Lisbon: from the Carmo area down to Rossio Square and the Baixa, past the Arco da Rua Augusta and the Monument to King José I, then up to Lisbon Cathedral, the Roman theatre museum, Castelo de S. Jorge and Igreja de Santa Luzia.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the Old Convent of the Holy Trinity and finishes at Igreja de Santa Luzia. It is not a loop, so you end up on the far side of the old town from where you began, close to Castelo de S. Jorge.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take close to three hours, including walking and solving the puzzles, over about 3.2 km. You can pause at any point and continue later, so it is easy to stop for lunch or a coffee along the way. It is best played during the day.
Is it suitable for children, and can we play as a group?
Yes. The quest is tagged kid friendly and recommended for families, and it suits school-age children who can manage close to three hours on foot. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the same route.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No. There is no group to join and no guide to meet, so you can start whenever you like. Go to the Old Convent of the Holy Trinity, open the game on your phone and it leads you from stop to stop.
