Preguntas frecuentes
Is there a scavenger hunt for kids in Jacksonville?
Yes. This family hunt runs through the San Marco neighborhood. Felix the mischievous fox has stolen Bunny's basket of gems and hidden them in tricky spots, and children help track them down by solving puzzles at 12 stops on a 2.3 km walk, played on a phone.
Where does the hunt start and finish?
It starts at Balis Park by the San Marco Lion Statue and finishes at Fuji Sushi on a loop route. Along the way you pass Theatre Jacksonville, the San Marco Community Center, Lumen Repertory Theatre, the Love San Marco Mural and Landon Park.
How long does it take and what age is it for?
Most families take around 100 minutes, so allow close to two hours including walking and puzzles. The route is 2.3 km. The Bunny and fox story and the gem puzzles suit children of roughly 5 to 12 playing with an adult.
Can we play together as a family or group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, and the game runs on a phone, so a family, grandparents with visiting grandchildren, or a teacher with a small group can follow the story and solve the puzzles side by side.
Do we need to book a time, and can we take a break?
No set time is needed. You start whenever suits you, with no group to join and no guide to wait for. You can pause the game, stop for a snack on the way, and continue later from where you left off.
