Travel through time and explore Dublin city whilst solving the crime of the century committed by your nemesis, Sir Horatio Maudlin, another time traveller.  In this game, you will visit key historical sights in Dublin and experience the sights and sounds throughout its history while solving location-based puzzles. Ideal for families or couples wanting to explore Dublin.

Families with school-age children and couples get an easy time-travel caper: you chase a rival time traveller, Sir Horatio Maudlin, past Dublin Castle, Trinity College, Christ Church Cathedral and St Stephen's Green, solving puzzles in the streets as you go. It takes about 75 minutes over 3.2 km. If you would rather quiz a live guide on Irish history or spend long stretches indoors, choose something else.

How long does the quest take?
Plan on about 75 minutes to walk the 3.2 km route and solve the puzzles along the way. You can pause at any point and continue later, so a break at Bewley's Oriental Café or on St Stephen's Green will not cost you your progress.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at St Patrick's Park and loops back there at the end. Along the way you pass Fusilier's Arch, Dublin Castle, Trinity College, the old Parliament House, Christ Church and St Patrick's cathedrals, Marsh's Library, the Shelbourne Hotel and the Famine Memorial.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes. It is rated easy and family friendly, with a light crime-solving story about a time-travelling villain. It suits children old enough to walk about 3 km and help read clues and spot details at each stop. The whole route is outdoors on city streets and in parks.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated on the ticket. There is no set start time and no guide to meet. Open the game on your phone at St Patrick's Park whenever you are ready and play at your own pace.
Do we need any other tickets?
The quest notes that an entrance ticket has to be bought separately, so check the details in the app before you set out. The puzzles themselves are solved outdoors at each location along the route.
