It's September 14th. You've just arrived in Florence for a relaxing holiday.
But as you gaze at the Palazzo Vecchio from your hotel window, a knock at the door pulls you back into a world you thought you'd left behind.
This chilling quest takes you deep into Florence's shadowy past. Solve real-world puzzles, follow ghostly clues, and explore hidden corners of the city where murder, memory, and mystery intertwine.

Adults who like their Florence with a chill can follow ghostly clues from Palazzo Vecchio to Palazzo Vecchietti, solving puzzles in the streets for a little over two hours, ideally after dark. Couples and friends start whenever they like, with no group to join. The story of whispering dead and old tragedies is not for children, and anyone wanting a live guide to tell the tales should look elsewhere.

Where does the ghost quest start and finish?
It starts at Palazzo Vecchio and finishes at Palazzo Vecchietti, so it is not a loop. The 1.6 km route passes stops including Via dei Cerchi, Via del Campanile, the Misericordia di Firenze and the Loggia del Bigallo. Some checkpoints may be affected by temporary construction work.
How long does it take?
Most players take a little over two hours, around 2 hours and 10 minutes, including the walking and the puzzles. The distance is only 1.6 km, so most of the time goes on the story and the clues. You can pause and continue later if you need a break.
Does the route go along Via della Vigna Vecchia?
Yes. After the opening at Palazzo Vecchio, the second stop is the entry to Via della Vigna Vecchia, followed by Gelateria Perché No and then Via dei Cerchi. The app guides you between each point, so you do not need a separate map.
Is it suitable for children?
No. The quest is tagged as not for kids. The story follows someone who hears the voices of the dead, victims of untold tragedies, and it is designed as a chilling evening experience for adults rather than a family walk.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
There is no time slot to book and no guide to meet. You start whenever you like, and the quest works best at night. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on one phone, and you can pause and pick up again later.
