The tour starts at Kelvingrove art Gallery and will lead you through Kelvingrove park, Glasgow university and will conclude in the scenic botanic gardens. The game can only be played between 10am-4pm (Be cautious of closing times to museums!)

Prospective students, museum lovers and families with older children get a west end walk of about 3 km, lasting just under two hours, from Kelvingrove Art Gallery through the park and the university cloisters to the Hunterian and the Botanic Gardens, with puzzles at each stop. Choose another quest if you want the city centre, an evening or Monday outing, or a live guide on campus.

Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, then leads you through Kelvingrove Park, past the bandstand, onto the University of Glasgow campus with its cloisters and the Hunterian, along Ashton Lane, and finishes in the Botanic Gardens.
How long does the walk take and how far is it?
Plan on 1.5 to 2 hours for a route of about 3 km. You can pause and continue later, which is useful if you want to spend longer inside Kelvingrove or the Hunterian museums along the way.
What days and times can we play?
It is a daytime game and is not playable on Mondays or holidays. The quest notes advise playing between 10am and 4pm and keeping an eye on museum closing times, since several stops are inside museums. Playing at night is not recommended.
Do we need to buy tickets for the museums on the route?
No attraction tickets are required. The museums and other highlights on this west end route, including Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and the Hunterian, are free to enter, so you only need the quest on your phone.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated. There is no group to join and no guide, so you can start whenever suits you within the playing hours, with no fixed time slot to book.
