About Marché Aux Fleurs
Since 1861, Cours Saleya flower market has been Nice's fragrant heart. In 1897, Nice hosted the world's first wholesale flower market, establishing itself as Europe's flower capital. Fresh carnations shipped throughout the continent made Nice synonymous with blooms. Today, Tuesday to Sunday you'll find vendors arranging colorful bouquets of orchids, roses, sunflowers, and lilies. Mondays bring antiques and flea markets. Summer evenings add artisanal night markets. Beyond flowers: olives, fresh fruits, Mediterranean spices, local crafts. With Questo, you can wander through gardens of color and discover centuries of horticultural tradition.
