Lovely and interesting walk round a beautiful part of London. A couple of clues were really challenging but that just added to the sense of accomplishment in the end for our gang (mum, dad and 4 kids 9-12yo). Really good story- telling too!

Meet the maker

The mission: Your story in London

The insistent hammering at the front door wakes you with a start.

When you come down, the police are already filing into every room of your Richmond home. You recognise Bill, your dad’s friend and fellow professor at UCL. He’s looking more awkward than usual.

‘He’s done it this time, Elle’ he flusters, ‘You can’t just take maps from the British Museum. I know its been difficult since…’ he trails off as a police officer brushes past him carrying a computer out of the house.

You go into the kitchen and sit at the table where you had dinner last night with your dad. You thought he was getting back to normal.

Your eye is drawn to a postcard picture in the centre of the table that had not been there last night. It is a picture of your dad’s favourite view from Richmond Hill. You remember many happy walks starting there.

You turn the postcard over. It’s addressed to you, with just one additional word. ‘Framed’.

You need to work out what's going on and find your dad.
