The mission: Your story in London

It's 4th of Oct 1936 and a pair of siblings, residents of Cable Street their whole lives have slipped out to join forces with friends and neighbours to help build a blockade and to do what it takes to stop the fascists marching through their neighbourhood. 

Their mission is to play a part on this important day to help ensure that for Mosley and his Blackshirts, "They Will Not Pass". Then they must locate each other after the battle ends and head home to the inevitable trouble they'll be in!

The Battle of Cable Street and London’s East End

The Battle of Cable Street took place in 1936, when local communities and anti-fascist protesters opposed Oswald Mosley’s British Union of Fascists. The quest follows an imagined local participant while introducing this real event and the wider history of London’s Docklands.
