The route runs from the Diana Temple in the Hofgarten past the Theatine Church, Wittelsbacherplatz, Salvatorkirche, the old Munich Wall, MaxTor, the Justus von Liebig monument, Max-Turm, Hartmannstrasse, Etstrasse, the Sitzender Keiler, the Frauenkirche and Marienplatz, ending at Alter Peter.
Where does the ghost walk start and finish?
It starts at the Diana Temple in the Hofgarten and finishes at Alter Peter, the church tower near Marienplatz. It is not a loop, so you end up in the old town centre rather than back where you began, after about 3.2 km of walking.
How long does it take?
Most players take about two hours, including walking and solving the puzzles along the 3.2 km route. You can pause whenever you like, stop for a drink or a meal, and pick up the story again later from where you left off.
