The basilisk is the creature said to lurk deep beneath the city, and its legend drives this story. With adventurer Lilliana Jonas you follow a trail through medieval Utrecht, along wharf cellars, city castles and easily missed places, solving puzzles in the streets as the old stories come to life.
Which places in Utrecht does the route pass?
The trail starts and ends at Fullers and passes Drakenburg, a hidden city castle, Domplein, François Villon, De kleine Vleeschhal, Loenersloot, the Wharf Cellars, the Great Medieval Barn, an urban palaeontology stop and the Gesloten Steen. It is a good way to see the medieval centre with a story attached.
