Do we need a ticket for each player, or does one cover our group?
One ticket covers the whole group playing together. You play on a phone, so friends, couples or a family can follow the clues side by side and work through the conspiracy as a team without each person buying separately.
Can we play tomorrow without booking a time slot?
Yes. There is no group to join and no guide to meet, so you start whenever you like, whether that is tomorrow morning or a Friday evening. You can also pause the game and pick it up again later.
Where does the detective route start and finish?
It is a loop that starts and ends at Severance Music Center. In between you visit the Dittrick Medical History Center, the Michelson-Morley Experiment Historical Marker, Coastlines, the Wolstein Research Building, the George S. Dively Building, Turning Point, the Mather College Historic District and the Mary Chisholm Painter Arch.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take about two hours, including walking and solving puzzles. The route covers 2.9 km on foot. Because you can pause and continue later, you can stop for a break between stops without losing your progress.
Is it suitable for kids?
It is aimed at adults and works well for families with teens, who can handle the code-breaking and the conspiracy storyline. Younger children may find the puzzles and nearly three kilometres of walking harder to stay with.
