Starting and finishing at a sculpture, this 1.7 km Calgary loop takes young detectives past the Inglewood Indigenous Mural, a guitars installation and a statue, restoring the lost senses in around 90 minutes. Parents, grandparents and birthday hosts with children of about 5 to 11 get an easy outdoor story to follow. Families after an indoor escape room, or with toddlers too young for the clues, should look elsewhere.

There is no time slot to book. You start whenever you like, with no guide or other groups, and one ticket covers your whole group up to the number of devices stated. You can also pause and pick up later if little legs need a break.

Yes, every stop is outside in the city, so dress for the weather. Since you can pause the game at any point and continue later, a rain shower does not mean losing your progress. You can simply carry on when it clears.
