Over deze quest
🍀 The Case of the Lost Luck: An Outdoor Detective Mystery Game 🍀
Fortune has faltered with the mysterious disappearance of the Golden Shamrock. As luck spirals into chaos—clocks stop, signs fall, and the bakery's ovens cool—you are summoned to unravel this enigma.
Was it the reticent leprechaun, Rusty, with his mischievous past? Finn McGuire, the desperate pub owner last seen with the shamrock? Or perhaps the mayor himself, whose ambitions might be fueled by the town's misfortune?
Is dit iets voor jullie?
Voor wie het is
This 2.1 km loop starts and ends at the Virginia Legends Park entry on Pacific Ave, passing the Boardwalk Birds Sculpture, the John Wareing Statue and the fishing pier in around 90 minutes. Friends, couples and mixed-age families who like a playful mystery about a missing shamrock will enjoy weighing up the suspects. Anyone wanting a live guide, or time inside the wildfowl museum, should look elsewhere.

Een paar antwoorden voor vertrek
Veelgestelde vragen
Is there a treasure hunt in Virginia Beach?
Yes. This is a self-guided outdoor detective game played on your phone along the oceanfront. The app leads you from stop to stop, tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you, as you work out who made the town's lucky shamrock disappear.
What will we see on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk during the hunt?
The route includes the Virginia Legends Walk, the Boardwalk Birds Sculpture, the Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum, the John Wareing Statue, the Cotton Candy Wings Mural, Half Moon Music Store, La La Land Sugar Candy Kingdom and a stretch of boardwalk near the fishing pier and at 13th Street.
Does the route pass the Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum?
Yes, the Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum is one of the stops on the boardwalk section of the route. It comes early in the walk, shortly after the Virginia Legends Walk and the Boardwalk Birds Sculpture.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
You start and finish at the Virginia Legends Park entry on Pacific Avenue, so the route is a loop. It covers about 2.1 km and takes around 90 minutes, though you can pause at any point and continue later.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
There is no set start time, guide or group to join, so you begin whenever suits you. One ticket covers your whole group, which makes it easy to play as friends or family on a day out by the beach.
