Een paar antwoorden voor vertrek
Veelgestelde vragen
Where is the Robin Hood Statue, and is that where the game starts?
Yes, the game starts at the Robin Hood Statue, which is also one of the stops on the route. Open the quest on your phone and the app leads you to the starting point, then on from place to place across the city centre.
Is there a detective game that includes Nottingham Castle?
Yes. Nottingham Castle is one of eight stops on this conspiracy trail. At each stop the app tells you the story of the place and sets a puzzle based on what is in front of you, so the castle becomes part of the case you are solving.
What will we see in Nottingham along the way?
The route covers St Mary's Church, Nottingham Castle, the Robin Hood Statue, Nottingham Contemporary, Nottingham College, the Council House, the Green Heart of Nottingham and Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem. It works as a sightseeing walk with a mystery to crack on top.
How long does it take, and is it suitable for children?
Plan on around 90 minutes for a walk of about 3.2 km, longer if you stop for a drink. The plot about a centuries-old secret society and its code-breaking puzzles suit teens and adults best, so it is a good pick for families with teenagers.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers your whole group, and there is no time slot to book. Start whenever you like, play at your own pace with no guide, and pause if you need a break, then continue the game later from where you stopped.
