You follow the trail of Charlemagne's lost treasure past the Roman baths, the Cathedral and the Rathaus in about 75 minutes over 1.1 km. If you would rather ask a live guide about the Cathedral's history, a guided tour suits you better.

Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the Elisenbrunnen and finishes at Charlemagne's Fountain, so it does not end where it began. On the way you pass the Ancient Roman Bathhouse, Aachen Cathedral, the Fountain of Puppets, the Palace Courtyard, Aula Carolina, Karlshof and the Rathaus.
How long does it take?
Most players take about 75 minutes, which includes walking and solving the puzzles. The route itself is short, around 1.1 km through the old town. You can pause along the way and continue later, so there is no need to rush between stops.
