À propos de cette aventure

Walk through Valencia’s Turia Gardens in the company of someone who remembers everything the river has seen. This is not just a tour, it’s a journey through memory, resilience, and imagination. As you follow your grandfather’s gentle pace from the ancient Serranos Towers to the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, each stop reveals a story, a puzzle, and a piece of a city that transformed a disaster into one of the world’s most beautiful urban parks. You will uncover symbols hidden in stone, count arches, read the sky in architecture, and witness how history flows beneath modern curves—all while slowly understanding the secret your grandfather has carried with him all these years.

Questions fréquemment posées

Is this a self-guided walking tour of Valencia?
Yes. You play it on your phone, and the app leads you through the Turia Gardens from stop to stop, telling the story of each place and setting a puzzle in what is in front of you. There is no guide and no group to join, and it is free to play.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at the Serranos Towers on the edge of the old town and finishes at the Little House Assut de l'Or, beside the City of Arts and Sciences. It is a one-way route along the old riverbed, not a loop, so plan your way back from the finish.
How long does it take and how far is it?
Most players take a little over two hours, about two and a quarter, including walking and puzzles. The route covers 4.7 km through the Turia Gardens, passing Trinity Bridge, Real Bridge, Flower Bridge, the Palau de la Música, Gulliver park and the Palau de les Arts along the way.
Is it good for kids?
Yes, it is rated easy and family friendly. The puzzles involve counting arches, finding symbols carved in stone and reading shapes in the architecture, which suits school-age children who can count and read. Gulliver park sits along the route as a natural break, but the 4.7 km distance may tire very young children.
Do we need to book a time, and can we pause?
No booking is needed. You can start whenever you like, play at your own pace, and pause the quest to continue later, which is handy if you want to stop for a rest or a snack somewhere along the gardens.
