Playing the part of a young Roman from Londinium, you will take a walk around your home city one final time, before leaving to fight for the Roman Army in Gaul.

The sun is setting on this once great empire and the Roman capital of Britannia is in decline. You will discover some of London's hidden Roman sites and find out all about the origins of this city.

Faits saillants

As you walk around this once-great city, you’ll take in the achievements of the Romans. Where just a few scattered Celtic homesteads stood, the Romans built a beacon of commerce.
You will see evidence of the wharf, the city walls, and a fort.
You will visit the locations of a Roman amphitheatre, a temple, basilica, forum, and palace.

La mission : Votre histoire à London

It is the 4th Century AD. Romans have been leaving Londinium in droves. As the empire declines, Britannia - the only place you've known as home - will be left to fend for herself. As a newly enlisted soldier, you’re to leave for Gaul to help deal with the Franks.

You'll depart at sunset, giving you time to walk around this great, but crumbling city, one last time. You have friends to visit and colleagues to meet. You want to eat, pray, and even catch a show before you leave.

Took longer than expected to play (90 minutes). Loved the photos to check we were heading the correct direction. 2 errors: in St Peter's church garden, the answer should be in feet, and after crossing Gresham Street it is Foster Lane (not street).

The walk itself was nice, and liked the places it took us to, but some of the puzzles didn't work. The one by the river art installation was straight up wrong, and we couldn't see a way you could get the clues to line up with the correct letters at all. The one by the graves should make it clear it's just a number for the answer as it sounds like you should include unit of measurements. The anagram at the Guildhall was impossible because the phone box was blocked off.
