Yes. The story centers on a stolen T. rex. You play a K.L.A.W. agent chasing Apex, N.I.C.K.'s most over-the-top thief, through landmarks on and around the National Mall, solving a clue at each stop. It begins at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History and finishes at the Washington Monument, so it does not return to the start. Along the way you pass FBI Headquarters, Navy Memorial Plaza, the National Archives Museum, the Sculpture Garden, the Air and Space Museum, the Smithsonian, Enid A. Haupt Garden and the Department of Agriculture.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Most players take around 1 hour 45 minutes, walking and puzzles included, over about 2.7 km. You can pause whenever you like, for lunch or a museum visit, and pick up the chase later from where you stopped.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, one ticket covers the whole group playing together on a phone. There is no set start time and no group to join, so you can begin whenever you arrive at the Natural History Museum. The route is outdoors, so plan for the weather.
