What is El Cabanyal in Valencia?
El Cabañal, also written El Cabanyal, is Valencia's traditional fishing quarter by the sea. Its tiled façades are officially declared of cultural interest, and its streets mix street art, modernist buildings, a fish shop and a municipal market, all of which appear as stops on this walk.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario and loops back to the same church at the end. Along the way you pass the Fuente del Barco de Agua, La Casa dels Bous, La Casa del Oso, Falla Plaça la Creu, Teatro la Estrella and the Mercat Municipal.
How long does it take and how far is it?
Plan on around 90 minutes to cover about 3.3 km, including time for the puzzles at each stop. You can start whenever you like without booking a time slot, and you can pause the game and continue later if you stop for a coffee or a look around the market.
Can we play as a group?
