Preguntas frecuentes
What does this walk through hidden Porto cover?
It is a self-guided city game on Porto's lesser-known side, mixing nature, art and architecture with a tale of deception and passion. You see the Crystal Palace Gardens and the Super Bock Arena, pass places like Tait House and Quinta da Pena, then follow the Romantic path to the Botanical Garden.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the Super Bock Arena and finishes at the Botanical Garden, so it is not a loop. Along the way you pass the Miradouro, the Crystal Palace Acoustic Shell, the Emile David Gardens, Tait House, Campo do Rou, the Faculty of Architecture and the Planetarium, among other stops.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Most players take nearly three hours, walking and puzzles included, over about 5.8 km. You can pause at any point and continue later, which helps if you want a coffee break or a longer sit in the gardens.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on a phone. There is no guide and no group to join, so you do not need to book a slot; start whenever suits you.
Can we play it in the evening?
Playing at night is not recommended. The route runs through gardens, parks and residential streets, and the puzzles rely on what is in front of you, so plan to start early enough to finish nearly three hours later in daylight.
