La experiencia
Sobre esta experiencia
Ottawa hides more than monuments and politics—something darker lingers in its shadows. James Cardinal, heir to a powerful local family, has vanished without a trace. As a seasoned private investigator, you've been called in to uncover the truth before whispers turn into headlines. His last signal came from downtown, but the trail has gone cold.
Will you crack the case before it disappears for good?
Step into the streets, follow cryptic clues, solve real-world puzzles, and piece together the mystery one step at a time. Bring a friend or your most trusted partner—this isn’t a game you’ll want to play alone. It's a thrilling walk through secrets, lies, and hidden corners of the capital. The city is waiting. Are you ready to follow the trail?
¿Es para ti?
Para quién es
Couples, friends and families who like a detective story can spend just over two hours solving a missing-person case while walking 6.2 km past downtown Ottawa's statues, from Marion Dewar to the Famous 5, Queen Victoria and the Tessouat sculpture. If you would rather have a live guide answering history questions, or someone in your group struggles with over 6 km on foot, pick something else.

Preguntas frecuentes
Can we play this tonight in Ottawa?
You can start whenever you like, but this quest is tagged as best during the day. It is an outdoor walk of 6.2 km past downtown statues and monuments that takes just over two hours, so plan to set off with enough daylight left to finish.
Is this something we can do in downtown Ottawa today without booking?
Yes. There is no time slot to book, no group to join and no guide to meet. You start on your phone whenever you arrive at the first stop, and one ticket covers the whole group playing together.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Marion Dewar and finishes at the Tessouat sculpture, so it is not a loop. On the way you pass the National Arts Centre, the Famous 5, Queen Victoria, Lt. Col. John By and the Museum of History. Some checkpoints may have temporary construction work.
Is it good for kids?
It is recommended as a family activity. The story is a detective case about a missing heir, solved through puzzles at each stop. It suits children who enjoy clues and can comfortably walk 6.2 km over a little more than two hours.
Can we take a break and continue later?
Yes. You can pause the quest at any point, stop for food or a rest, and pick up where you left off. That makes the 6.2 km route, which usually takes just over two hours, easier to fit into a day downtown.
