Families with dinosaur-loving kids, nature lovers and couples can follow a Cretaceous survival story along 2.6 km of paths in Văcărești Nature Park, past birdwatching towers, a turtle panel and the butterfly trail. Expect medium-difficulty puzzles and just over two hours outdoors in the sun. Choose something else if varied, uneven terrain is hard for you, or if the river is running high on the day you planned.

What is the dinosaur story in Văcărești about?
You join a team of experts on a remote delta, invited to witness living dinosaurs from the Cretaceous period. Awe turns into a fight for survival as nature pushes back against human control. You play one of the main characters, facing wonder, betrayal and danger as you walk.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at the welcome point of Văcărești Natural Park and runs as a 2.6 km loop past spots such as the birdwatching towers, the rangers' post and the butterfly path. It finishes at Privighetoarea (Nightingale), back where you began.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Most players take a little over two hours, walking and puzzles included. You can pause and carry on later. Charge your phone or bring a power bank, and pack a hat, sunscreen and enough water, as the whole route is outdoors.
Is it suitable for children?
It is family friendly and a good fit for school-age children who love dinosaurs and can walk 2.6 km on varied terrain. Puzzles are medium difficulty, and the story includes betrayal and moments of danger, so younger children may need an adult to help.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play as a group?
No time slot is needed: you start whenever you like, with no guide or group to join. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on one phone. Just avoid going when the river is high.
