This loop starts and ends at Zimmerman Library on the UNM campus, passing the Duck Pond, Popejoy Hall and The Center of the Universe over about 1.8 km in around 90 minutes. Friends, couples, families and Oz fans team up to outsmart the witch through puzzles, while solo players chase the leaderboard. Anyone wanting a booked indoor escape room should pick something else, since every puzzle here is outdoors.

Is this something we can do in Albuquerque today without booking?
Yes. There is no time slot to reserve and no guide to meet. You play on your phone and can start whenever suits you, then walk the route at your own pace. Allow around 90 minutes for the full game.
Where does the game start and finish?
It starts and ends at Zimmerman Library on the University of New Mexico campus. In between, the clues lead you to places such as Popejoy Hall, the UNM Duck Pond, The Center of the Universe and the Tribute to Mother Earth.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes to walk about 1.8 km and solve the puzzles along the way. If you need a break, you can pause the game and continue later from where you stopped.
Can we play as a group, or on our own?
You can team up with friends or family and work on the puzzles together, and one ticket covers your whole group. Solo players can take on the witch's challenges alone and compare their result on the leaderboard.
Is it an indoor or outdoor activity?
It is played outdoors, walking between stops on the university campus, so dress for the weather on the day. Because you can pause and pick up again later, you can stop if conditions turn and finish another time.
