Does the Romeo and Juliet story get a happy ending in this quest?
That is the whole idea. You travel back to the age of Romeo and Juliet and become part of their fate, following clues and solving riddles as you try to save the two lovers from their tragic destiny. The story builds towards the final stop, Pick up Juliet.
Does the route visit the places in Verona linked to Romeo and Juliet?
Yes. Juliet's House is one of the early stops, and the route also takes in medieval squares with statues and lions, a search for Friar Lorenzo, Porta Leoni, Piazza San Fermo and the city walls. You hear stories of love, art and history at each place.
How does the Questo app work?
You play on your phone. The app leads you from place to place, tells the story of each stop and sets a puzzle based on what is in front of you. There is no guide and no group to join, so you can start whenever you like.
How long does it take and where does it finish?
Most players take about two hours, walking and puzzles included, over roughly 2.7 km. It is not a loop: you begin at the starting point shown in the app and finish at the final stop, Pick up Juliet, so you end up somewhere different from where you began.
Can we play as a group, and can we pause along the way?
Yes to both. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the same phone. There is no time slot to book, and you can pause the quest, stop for a coffee or a meal, and continue later from where you left off.
