Frank Baum's 1900 novel, solved on downtown Tucson streets from El Presidio Plaza past the Fox Tucson Theatre and back. Puzzle fans can also play solo against the leaderboard. It starts at the JFK Statue in El Presidio Plaza and is a loop. Along the way you pass the Pima County Historic Courthouse, the Fox Tucson Theatre and the Presidio San Agustin del Tucson Museum, then finish at the Exchange at the Presidio marker for the Mormon Battalion entering Tucson, back in the Presidio area where you began.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Most players take around 90 minutes, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers about 1.8 km through downtown Tucson, with twelve stops between El Presidio Plaza and the Presidio area, so it fits easily into an afternoon or evening outing.
Can we play as a group?
