Ein paar Antworten vor dem Start
Häufig gestellte Fragen
Is this a romantic walking tour of Amsterdam?
Yes. It is a self-guided romantic walk played on your phone. You follow the story of Anna, a young servant girl, through canals and courtyards, past tulips and love bridges, solving a puzzle at each place. The route covers 2.2 km and is tagged best for couples and best during the day.
Is there a love story to follow along the way?
The walk is built around Anna's daydreams colliding with destiny, mixed with real tales of passion and heartbreak from Amsterdam's past. Your choices and curiosity shape the ending, so it can turn out as a fairytale or a tragedy. One stop is Tuschinski, described as the world's most romantic theatre.
Where does it start and finish?
It starts at De Waag and finishes at the Skinny Bridge, so it does not return to the start. In between you pass the Bredero Monument, Tulip Artwork, Leprozenpoort, Rembrandt House Museum, City Hall, Staalmeestersbrug, Tuschinski, Blauwbrug and the Oldest Elm tree.
How long does it take?
Most players take about an hour and three quarters, including the walking and the puzzles. The distance is 2.2 km. You can pause at any point, for a coffee or a canal view, and continue later from where you stopped.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so a couple or a few friends can share it. There is no time slot to book and no group to join: start whenever you like. Daytime is recommended for this route.
