A series of fortunate events put us in possession of an unpublished manuscript by Isaac Newton that was originally sold in a Sotheby’s auction in 1936.
The document was in bad shape and extensively marked up by previous owners. Yet, after hours of meticulous examination, we managed to reconstitute Newton’s visit to Saint-Émilion in 1701.
Today, these documents are all yours and you decided to follow Newton’s path to solve the mystery of this visit.
