To you, our Creators,

We at Questo have been working hard to build a colony of passionate and dedicated Creators who are explorers at heart – just like you! 

All the while, we’ve left no stone (or comet) unturned in our search for new and exciting ways to build great games out there in the great beyond.

It’ll come as no surprise, then, that 2022 was a great success for us! Each and every creator left their mark on our mission’s ultimate trajectory, so we're very excited to share with you all the progress Questo made over the course of 2022! 🚀

In 2022, we continued to push ourselves to new heights. Unlike in our games, however, there was no "Extra Hint" section to guide us, so we had to get creative (you might say that we put our Creator hats on).

Nonetheless, we set our sights on solving these challenges by exploring new frontiers and integrating new technologies, and we couldn't have done it without you! 

Yes, you! Congrats, conqueror. 👏

With your help and feedback, we were able to achieve our goal of providing you with the tools you need to build and create quality games at scale. 💹

In other words, we forged an army’s worth of hammers in the fires of our web server and released the Creator's Room Beta (later the Creator's Room proper), which meant that anyone in the world (or Mars) could build a Questo game. Wouldn’t you agree?

Creatives across the globe rallied to our side to grab a hammer and get building (it turns out we’re not the only ones who love building stuff). 🔨

And with our ever-growing library of top-notch game challenge templates, it really is as easy as A, B, C to build a Questo game. 👷‍♂️

These are just some of the amazing brands we worked on Questo games with this year. We have a feeling you’ll recognise most of them!

We want to nudge our Creators and remind them that opportunities for brand partnerships exist and that it's worth trying to negotiate them. 🤝🏼

You can create brand games for huge businesses. It all starts with something as simple as you reaching out and pitching an idea. That’s attainable! And, who knows, you might be surprised by the results! 

Remember, if you never try, you'll never know, so don't be afraid to take a chance and pitch your ideas! ⚾

Need a reason? How does 30,000 euros sound? That’s how much our top-selling game generated in sales this year. Enough said. 🤑

Speaking of your ideas, we're thrilled to see that your creations and the community are continuing to grow, providing us with an endless stream of ideas and insights that help us bring even more immersive and engaging experiences to our players.

Not to mention, it's not just about building! You can also play and enjoy our games! We have over 1,800 games started within the Creator's Room and more than 500 games available for you to play around the world. Exploration awaits! 🧗

However, if you decide to make a game out of building, know there’s already a formidable speedrun record. 1 day! Whatever next, we wonder? 🤔

Here’s another fun fact you’ll love: of the 23,000 dates Questo games facilitated in 2022, at least 5 (that we know of) resulted in a proposal!

Here’s how we know that. We now have over 100 cities worth of Creators – this figure continues to soar by the day. Us and what army, you ask? This one! 💂

We're proud to have a truly global team spanning over 20 countries, working together seamlessly and with a great sense of community despite the distance. We took inspiration from how well our creators manage remote comms! Here’s to you. 🍸
