Questo, the platform for city games, partners with Street Art and Museum Tours to create the first city exploration game in Washington DC.
Street Art and Museum Tours, a leading art and culture tourism company, is the first organization in the Washington D.C. area to join the Questo platform that helps tour operators create phone-guided tours.
Street Art and Museum Tours offers adventures for creative tourists coming to Washington. In collaboration with the Questo team, Street Art and Museum Tours has created an innovative, interactive game that features the US Capitol, surrounding monuments, and buildings by showing the art and history of Washington, D.C.
Diane Maglaque, the owner and founder of Street Art and Museum Tours, commented, “My team and I are thrilled to partner with Questo and create individualized adventures for those visiting Washington, D.C. We believe that this cutting-edge cultural experience will allow so many visitors to see, experience, and understand our beloved city in a uniquely vibrant way. As we stand at the dawn of social distancing and economic recovery, we are confident that this will play a pivotal role in bringing the tourism industry back to life."
The Questo platform assists tour operators in creating new revenue streams by offering private, modern tours to their clients, which are available 24/7 and don’t require a tour guide. Travelers and locals use the Questo mobile app to visit attractions and discover local stories as if they are involved in missions. On each mission, they must solve clues, puzzles, and riddles in order to continue on their journey.
“When we embarked on this mission to transform every place into a game, Washington was right on the top of our list. It's a great city with amazing stories and places that we will now start to promote through our quests developed in partnership with Street Art and Museum Tours. I'm very happy to have found such a committed partner interested in creating memorable experiences for those interested in exploring Washington today, in Corona times, but also in the future.” said Alex Govoreanu, CEO and Co-founder of Questo.
