Perguntas frequentes
What is the theme of this San Antonio escape game?
It follows a new story inspired by L. Frank Baum's original 1900 Oz novel. You join a team of misfits and try to outsmart the witch by cracking puzzles set in the streets around you, with original Oz-themed songs written for the game that you can replay at home.
Is this a self-guided scavenger hunt in San Antonio?
Yes. The app gives you clues that lead to each new location, tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle based on what is in front of you. There is no guide and no group to join, so you move at your own pace and can pause and continue later.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
It starts and finishes at the entrance to King William Park at Washington St and King William St. The loop is about 2.5 km and takes around 90 minutes, passing places such as Villa Finale Museum, Beethoven Maennerchor, the King William Association and a stretch of the River Walk Path.
Do we need to book a time, and can our group share a ticket?
There is no booking slot: you start whenever you like and can pause and pick it up later. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so friends or family can solve the puzzles together on the walk.
Is it good for families with teenagers?
Families with kids or teens are one of the groups it is designed for. The story, the puzzles and the walk between stops give everyone something to do, and it is all outdoors, so check the weather before you set out since there is no indoor section.
