Yes. It is a self-guided walk played on your phone. The app leads you from stop to stop, tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you. The history here is that of alchemy, esoteric symbols and the legend of the philosopher's stone.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at Nicolas Flamel's house and finishes at The Lady and the Unicorn, so it does not end where it began. On the way you pass stops including the palm tree fountain at Châtelet, Saint-Jacques Tower, Notre-Dame and Archangel Michael.
How long does it take, and do we need to book a time?
Most players take about two hours, walking and puzzles included, over roughly 3.6 km. There is no time slot to book: you start whenever you like, and you can pause and continue later if you want a break.
