Sobre Palais Lascaris
Built in the 17th century for the Lascaris-Vintimille family, Palais Lascaris is a jewel of Baroque architecture in Nice. The palace features a monumental staircase adorned with frescoes and luxuriously decorated salons reflecting the wealth of noble families. But the real treasure awaits inside: over 500 historical musical instruments, France's second-most important collection after Paris's Musée de la Musique. Rare violas da gamba, recorders, and harps from the 17th-18th centuries line the rooms. In 2013, the collection expanded with instruments connected to the great French composer Gabriel Fauré. With Questo, you can discover how palaces preserve more than architecture.
