Music fans, couples and groups of friends visiting downtown Nashville get a detective story that takes them past the Nashville Music Garden, down Ryman Alley to the Ryman Auditorium, along Honky Tonk Highway and over the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, solving clues on the way in around 90 minutes. Where does the quest start and which places does it visit?
It starts at the Light Meander Sculpture, then leads you through the Nashville Music Garden, past Music City Center, down Ryman Alley to the Ryman Auditorium, along Honky Tonk Highway and across the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge to the Riverfront Train Station.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take around 90 minutes, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers about 1.9 km through downtown Nashville and the riverfront, so it fits easily into a morning or afternoon.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so friends, couples or a celebrating crew can follow the story and work through the clues as a team on the same game. No attractions tickets are required along the route.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No. There is no guide and no group to join, so you can start whenever you like. You can also pause the game, stop for a drink or a song on Honky Tonk Highway, and continue later.
Is it best to play during the day?
The route is open 24/7, but it is better during daylight hours. The whole quest is outdoors on city streets and over the pedestrian bridge, so check the weather and dress for it before you set off.
