A experiência
Sobre esta experiência
The Old City of Jerusalem carries thousands of years of history and is shrouded in the spiritual energy of many religions. In this city game, you play as a lost alien who crashed with his spaceship in Jerusalem and needs to find this energy to recharge his spaceship's battery.
You'll visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the holiest place for Christianity, the Western Wall, the last standing remains of the holy temple which is the holiest place for Judaism, and you'll see at distance the Al Aqsa Mosque, the third most important mosque in the Muslim world.
You'll discover fascinating stories about Jerusalem throughout different historical periods; the Greeks, the Romans, the Crusaders, the Mamluks, the Turks, and the British.
The quest will take place within the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem.

Couples and first-time visitors with children get the sacred sites as a game, in about an hour over 2.3 km. If you want a guide to answer questions on faith, or shade at midday, pick another walk.

Algumas respostas antes de partir
Perguntas frequentes
Is this a self-guided walking tour of Jerusalem's Old City?
Yes. The app leads you on foot from the Tower of David through Jaffa Gate, the Hurva Synagogue, the Cardo, the Western Wall Plaza, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. There is no guide and no group to join, and you can start whenever you like.
How does the puzzle quest work?
You play a lost alien whose spaceship crashed in Jerusalem and needs spiritual energy to recharge its battery. At each stop the app tells the story of the place and sets a puzzle based on what is in front of you, then sends you on to the next one.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
The route starts at the Tower of David and covers about 2.3 km through the Old City. Most people finish in about an hour, and you can pause the game and continue later if you want to stop for a break or spend longer at a site.
Is it a good activity for families with children?
It is recommended for families, and the alien storyline turns the sacred sites into a game rather than a lecture. Children need to manage around 2.3 km of walking outdoors, so bring hats, sunscreen and enough water, especially in warmer months.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated for the quest. There is no fixed time slot to book, so you can begin at the Tower of David whenever suits you and play at your own pace.
