Adults, couples and friends who have already done the Guinness pubs can spend an evening on a short cocktail crawl through the city centre. You visit five bars, from Vintage Cocktail Club to Peruke & Periwig, each with a recommended drink, over about 1.1 km and just over an hour of walking and puzzles. If you want a bartender-led guide to explain the drinks, or you are bringing children, choose another quest.

How does this self-guided cocktail tour work?
You play on your phone. The app leads you between five hand-picked cocktail bars, tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle in what is around you. Each bar comes with a recommended cocktail. There is no guide and no group to join, so you set your own pace.
Where does the tour start and finish?
It starts at Vintage Cocktail Club and finishes at Peruke & Periwig, so it does not end where it began. In between you visit The Blind Pig, The Sidecar and Below, in that order. The whole route covers about 1.1 km of walking.
How long does it take?
Most players take just over an hour, a little more than 65 minutes, with the walking and puzzles included. The distance between the five bars is short, about 1.1 km, so most of your time goes on the stops themselves rather than on getting from one to the next.
Do I have to drink a cocktail at every stop?
No. Each of the five bars has a recommended cocktail, but if you start to feel woozy you can take a break, have some water or a non-alcoholic cocktail, or get something to eat at any of the stops. You can also pause the game and continue later.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, one ticket covers the whole group playing together. There is no time slot to book, so you can start whenever suits you. For fewer crowds, play on a weekday during working hours. If it turns cold, you can pause and go inside to warm up at almost any location.
