Clutched in her hands was a strange, glowing device… a phone. “They say I must solve the riddles it holds to get him back—but I don’t know how. You, from the world beyond dreams, must help!”
And just like that, you wake up—with the phone in your hand.
Your quest begins in the heart of Boston’s Harvard Square. Follow magical clues, solve real-world puzzles, and explore famous places and faces as you help bring Oly home. This enchanted adventure is perfect for families and friends, turning a walk into a story you’ll never forget. Are you ready to break the spell and rescue Oly?

Para quem é
Families with primary-school children and fans of wizard stories can spend about two hours helping a dream wizard find her stolen owl, solving clues at Harvard Yard, Widener Library, the John Harvard statue and Longfellow House. It is a puzzle game first, with history picked up along the way. If you want a guide to explain Harvard's history in depth, or your children cannot manage 2.6 km on foot, choose something else.

Yes. This self-guided puzzle hunt runs on your phone through Harvard Square and Harvard Yard, with stops such as the John Harvard statue, Johnston Gate, Memorial Church and Widener Library. A story about a wizard and her stolen owl, Oly, ties the clues together, and you can start whenever you like.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Winthrop Park in the heart of Harvard Square and loops back there at the end. Along the way you pass the Village Blacksmith, Longfellow Park, the Prince Hall Memorial, the Civil War Monument and the site of the first capital of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, covering about 2.6 km.
How long does it take?
Plan on about two hours to walk the route and solve the puzzles. Families who stop for snacks or take longer on riddles may need a bit more. You can pause the game at any point and continue later, so there is no need to finish in one go.
Is it good for kids?
It is aimed at families with primary-school children. The story follows a wizard whose pet owl has been stolen, and the puzzles are solved by looking at real statues, gates and buildings around you. Younger children will enjoy it most with an adult reading the clues, and the full walk is 2.6 km.
Do we need to book a time or buy attraction tickets?
No time slot is needed: start whenever suits you, and one ticket covers your whole group. No attraction tickets are required for any stop. Daylight is best, as playing at night is not recommended for this route.
