Is this a city scavenger hunt through Breda?
Yes. It is a self-guided puzzle walk played on your phone. The app leads you through medieval Breda, past the old city wall, the Begijnhof, the Church of Our Lady, the Spanjaardsgat and the Castle of Breda, telling each place's story and setting a puzzle in what you see.
Where does the walk start and finish, and how long is it?
It is a loop of about 2.2 km that starts at Willemsbrug, with the red bridge as the final stop. Most players take around 1 hour 40 minutes, walking and puzzles included, so plan for 1.5 to 2 hours.
Can two adults play together?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so a couple or a small group of friends can follow the route and solve the puzzles side by side on the same game.
Do we need to book a time slot, and can we take a break?
No booking of a time is needed. You start whenever you like, there is no group to join and no guide to wait for. You can pause the game, stop for a coffee, and continue later from where you left off.
Can we play in the evening?
It is recommended not to play at night. The route runs outdoors through the old town, including the city wall, the Begijnhof and the Spanjaardsgat, so it works best in daylight when you can see the places the puzzles are built around.
