VERTROUWELIJK / ZAAKOVERZICHT
Het verhaal begint hier.
You know the old saying, “The boyfriend did it”? On an ill-fated night, love goes terribly wrong for Bella Wanderlust and Walter Bridges.
Bella, a famous travel blogger, was found dead during a ghost tour led by the theatrical Percy Shadows. Now, it’s up to you to uncover the truth.
Was it Walter, the obsessed boyfriend? Percy, the ghost tour guide with a flair for the dramatic? Or is someone else hiding in the shadows?
🔎 Gather clues, interrogate suspects, and expose the real murderer before they strike again. Make sure to have your pen and paper ready to jot down all the crucial evidence.
Is dit iets voor jullie?
Voor wie het is
Across 2.2 km of Winter Haven streets and about 90 minutes, you gather clues and question suspects in the death of travel blogger Bella Wanderlust, from her boyfriend Walter to ghost tour guide Percy Shadows. Couples, friends and families with teens get to play detective themselves, outdoors on their own phones. Anyone hoping for actors at a dinner table, or an indoor escape room, should book that instead.

Veelgestelde vragen
Is this like a murder mystery dinner theater in Winter Haven?
Not quite. There is no dinner and no cast on stage. You and your group walk outdoors and investigate the case yourselves on your phones: a famous travel blogger found dead during a ghost tour, with her boyfriend, the theatrical tour guide and others as possible suspects.
Is there a murder mystery game I can play myself in Winter Haven?
Yes. This is a self-guided murder mystery walk in Winter Haven played on your phone. The app leads you from place to place, where you gather clues, interrogate suspects and solve puzzles set in what is in front of you. You can start at any time you choose.
How far is the walk in miles, and how long does it take?
The route is about 2.2 km, which is roughly 1.4 miles. Most groups take around 90 minutes to walk it and solve the case, and you can pause and continue later if you want a break along the way.
How is it different from an escape room in Winter Haven?
Instead of being locked in a room for a booked slot, you play outdoors in the city, at your own pace and at a time you pick. There is no guide or game master: the app tells the story and sets the puzzles as you move between locations.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so everyone can follow along on their own phone. There is no time slot to book and no other group to join. Start whenever you are ready and pause if you need to.
