Het verhaal begint hier.
You know the old saying, “The boyfriend did it”? On an ill-fated night, love goes terribly wrong for Bella Wanderlust and Walter Bridges.
Bella, a famous travel blogger, was found dead during a ghost tour led by the theatrical Percy Shadows. Now, it’s up to you to uncover the truth.
Was it Walter, the obsessed boyfriend? Percy, the ghost tour guide with a flair for the dramatic? Or is someone else hiding in the shadows?
🔎 Gather clues, interrogate suspects, and expose the real murderer before they strike again. Make sure to have your pen and paper ready to jot down all the crucial evidence.
Is dit iets voor jullie?
Voor wie het is
This Trenton edition sends you on a 2 km walk of about 90 minutes, questioning the boyfriend Walter Bridges and ghost tour guide Percy Shadows to explain how travel blogger Bella Wanderlust died. It suits friends who would rather crack a case outdoors than sit in an escape room, and older teens who like a whodunit. Anyone wanting a seated murder dinner with a live host should look elsewhere.

Veelgestelde vragen
Is this an escape room in Trenton, NJ?
Not in the usual sense. Instead of a locked indoor room, you play outdoors on your own phones, walking about 2 km through Trenton while you gather clues and interrogate suspects. It gives the puzzle-solving feel of an escape room, but at a time you choose and out in the city.
How long does the murder mystery take and how far do we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes for a route of about 2 km. You can pause the game whenever you like and continue later, so a coffee stop or a break partway through will not cost you your progress in the investigation.
Is it suitable for kids?
It works best for older kids and teens playing alongside adults. The story centres on a death, with a travel blogger found dead during a ghost tour and several suspects to question, so younger children may find the plot too dark or the detective work hard to follow.
Can our group play together, and do we need to book a time slot?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group up to the number of devices stated, with everyone following along on their own phones. There is no guide and no fixed departure, so you start whenever suits you rather than booking a set time.
What happens if it rains?
The game is played outdoors as you walk between locations in Trenton, so bring suitable clothing in poor weather. Because you can pause and pick up the case later, you can also wait out a heavy shower or come back on a drier day to finish.
