Veelgestelde vragen

Where does the Gouda history walk start and finish?
It starts at The Kleiwegbridge and finishes at City Hall Gouda, so it does not end where it began. Along the way you pass 14 stops, including the Agnietenchapel, the Jewish Gate, Barbaratower, Womenstower, Sint-Jan Church and the Waag.
How long does the walk take and how far is it?
Most players take about two hours, walking and puzzles included, and the route is around 3.5 km through the old town. You can pause the quest at any point and continue later, so you can stop for a coffee or a waffle on the way.
Do we need to book a time or join a group?
No. You play it on your phone and can start whenever you like, with no group to join and no guide to meet. The quest is free to play, so friends or family can simply set off together at their own pace.
Can we play it in the evening?
It is best played in daylight, as the quest recommends not playing at night. The whole route is outdoors through streets, bridges and canal sides, so plan your two hours for a time when it is light out.
